İğneada Longoz Forests National Park

The Longoz Floodplain Forests, the largest in Türkiye and found in only a few places in the world, were declared a National Park in 2007 and placed under complete protection. This natural wonder surrounding İğneada is one of Türkiye's most important natural habitats due to its diverse fauna and flora. It has hosted major projects worldwide, and many wildlife observers, birdwatchers, and botanists have conducted research and filmed documentaries there.
