Abu Dharr al Ghaffari was one of the companions of the Islamic prophet Muhammad, and among the first to accept Islam. He is an important figure known for his asceticism, honesty, and commitment to justice. A member of the Banu Ghaffar tribe, Abu Dharr is considered one of the "Four Faithful Companions" in Shia tradition and is particularly revered in Alevi belief.
