The tumulus, built in the 1st century AD, is 15 meters high and consists of three chambers beneath the earth fill: a dromos (a vaulted hall), a passageway, and a burial chamber. The burial chamber, constructed of cut stone, has floors of neatly cut stone. An arched doorway to the north of the dromos leads to the passageway. The corridor connecting the dromos to the burial chamber runs south north and has a vaulted superstructure. An arched doorway leads from the dromos to the burial chamber. In this space, a red painted band runs the length of the wall where it meets the floor. The burial chamber is a rectangular shape, 3x4 meters in size, oriented east west. The sarcophagi are located in front of the east and west walls. The sarcophagi are made of limestone and have lids.
