The Erdebil Pavilion was built in 512 AD during the reign of Byzantine Emperor Anastasius I to house workers constructing a bridge across the Tigris River. Renovated numerous times until the 17th century, the pavilion is notable for its architectural similarities to the Gazi Pavilion. Located on a high hill west of the Tigris Bridge, the structure is an important landmark due to its strategic location and historical significance.
