One of the four caves in Turkey believed to belong to the Companions of the Cave (Ashab-ı Kehf) is located 15 km from the center of Lice district, in the İnceburun Mountains north of Duru (Derkam) Village. Just below the cave, there are also the ruins of a church built in the name of the Companions of the Cave, known as "Der i Rakim". This cave, long known as the Cave of the Companions of the Cave in Lice, is considered to perfectly match the cave description in verses 9-26 of Surah Al Kahf in the Quran.
