Ballıca Cave, with its 8 chambers open to visitors, is 680 meters long and 95 meters high, making it one of the largest and most magnificent caves in the world. This natural wonder continues to maintain its mystery with its sections yet to be opened to visitors and explored. Observing the formations in Ballıca Cave is like visiting a natural museum. Ballıca Cave, estimated to be approximately 3.4 million years old, possesses all the cave formations identified to date, and is also of international importance with its unique Onion Stalactites. Walking through the open sections of the cave is like embarking on a mysterious journey that amazes and excites at every step. The fact that the temperature inside the cave remains at 18-19 degrees Celsius year round is another astonishing phenomenon. Enjoying a meal of buttermilk and cottage cheese at the wooden cafeteria and rest facilities, built by our Governorate next to the cave entrance at an altitude of 1080 meters and completely in harmony with nature, is pure bliss.
