Zincirli Kaya in Bilecik is a massive rock formation hanging precariously on the road leading to the tomb of Sheikh Edebali. According to the most common belief, this rock, located on a caravan route in an ancient settlement, was chained shut during the Ottoman period for the safety of the people, who feared it might collapse at any moment.
