The Deliller Han (Inn of the Guides) is located within the city walls, near the Mardin Gate, and is also known as the Hüsrev Pasha Han. It was built in 934 (1527-28) by Hüsrev Pasha, the second Ottoman governor of Diyarbakır. The reason it is called the "Deliller Han" is because the guides who led pilgrims stayed here. The large area opposite the inn was known as the "Hacılar Harabesi" (Ruins of the Pilgrims). The structure consists of two sections: an open courtyard and a closed area. With this layout, it is among the early Ottoman inns that continued the architectural tradition of Seljuk era caravanserais.
