Cehennemağzı Cave is located in the center of Ereğli district, Zonguldak province. It is situated in an area known in antiquity as Achelon Valley or Ayazma. It consists of three caves side by side. The entrance floor of the first cave is covered with mosaics depicting plants and geometric shapes. Remnants of an apse are found in the eastern part of the second section.
