Located on the Yeşilırmak River in the city center of Tokat, the historic Hıdırlık Bridge, built in 1250, is a significant architectural structure from the Seljuk period. It is a 117-meter long, five arched bridge constructed from cut stone. Open to pedestrians only since 2013, the bridge was strengthened with extensive restoration work in 2020-2021. History: It is rumored to have been built to reconcile the three sons of Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev II, and their names are mentioned in its inscriptions. Architecture: Built by Pervane Seyfeddin Hamit, the bridge is notable for its cut stone structure and five pointed arches.
