The caves located within the boundaries of Sesverenpınar Village in Ergani district date back to between 7500 BC and 5500 BC. The region is considered one of the important centers in the transition process from hunting and gathering to settled life. In the caves, remnants of agricultural products such as wheat, chickpeas, and lentils, rock tombs and reliefs, and tools such as forks and spoons made of bone have been found.
