Located in the Çivril Plain south of Akdağ, on the sources that feed the Büyük Menderes River, Işıklı Lake existed as a natural lake until 1968. However, since that date, Işıklı Lake has been transformed into a reservoir lake and is currently used for irrigating the Çivril Plain. In May, the surface of Işıklı Lake is completely covered with water lilies, creating a breathtaking view.
