It has a history of approximately 600 or 700 years. Initially under Persian control, the castle later passed into the hands of the Byzantines. During the Ottoman era, the Atabeyliks captured this castle after fighting against the Rumelians. The Ottomans, in order to establish justice everywhere, brought this castle under their control. This castle was governed by Mirek Mir Muhammed. The castle currently stands in two parts. According to visual estimates, the castle is around 25 or 30 meters high. There are exactly 13 wells/moats remaining from the Atabeyliks. These wells are dug into the stone and are 4 meters deep. The local people call them cisterns. Rainwater fills these cisterns, and the water is completely covered with grass. People consider this a miracle. This grass protects the water from external elements.
