Located in the Pazar district of Tokat, this is a magnificent 13th century Anatolian Seljuk structure. It was built in 1238-1239 by Mahperi Hatun, the wife of Sultan Alaeddin Keykubad I and mother of Gıyaseddin Keyhüsrev II. Constructed as a strategic resting point on the historical Silk Road, the building now serves as both a museum/visitor area and a restaurant.
