The waterfall is one of 94 natural monument trees protected in Turkey by the General Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, as well as 8 separate natural areas with features created by natural events. The waterfall was registered as a Natural Monument on May 3, 2011.
