It is a Greek Orthodox church located in the Derinkuyu district of Nevşehir.[1] The Church of Saint Theodoros Trion was built for the Greeks living in the region in accordance with the Reform Edict issued in 1856 during the reign of Ottoman Sultan Abdülmecid and opened for worship on May 15, 1858.[2] The church, named after Theodor Tiron, is also known as the Grape Church because of the grape patterns depicted in the reliefs on its exterior.
