Construction Date: It was built in 1292 during the reign of Seljuk Sultan Mesud II. Commissioned by: Hacı Sümbül, the freed slave of Safiyeddin, the daughter of Vizier Muineddin Pervane. Architectural Features: It has an asymmetrical plan consisting of zawiya, mosque, and tomb sections. It features a stalactite decorated (muqarnas) crown gate (portal) notable for its marble workmanship. Above the entrance gate, there is a two story wooden "Baghdadi" house added in later periods. Who was Sümbül Baba: According to Evliya Çelebi, Sümbül Baba was a successor of Hacı Bektaş Veli and a student of Hacı Bayram Veli.
