Although it is known as the "Ten Eyed Bridge" due to its ten spans, it is also known as the Tigris Bridge. Completely constructed from hard basalt stone, the bridge is 172 meters long, and its width varies between 5.45-6.24 meters in the first five spans, increasing to 9.69-10.20 meters from the fifth span onwards. Due to its location, it is an important crossing point connecting the settlements to the east and north of the city. Having suffered destruction at various times throughout history, the bridge has undergone different repairs.
