Prophet Uzayr (peace be upon him) was a descendant of Aaron (peace be upon him). He was one of the few who memorized the Torah. He is known as "Ezra" among the Jews. There is no definitive information in the Quran regarding whether Prophet Uzayr was a prophet or not. The Quran only mentions that he was killed by Allah and resurrected after a hundred years.
