Overview

There's even a small power plant 300-400 meters away from the waterfall. Yer Köprü Waterfall possesses a magnificent beauty that can undoubtedly enchant everyone with its unique natural beauty. June is especially the ideal month to visit this waterfall. In this month, the magnificent riot of colors of oleanders, along with the flowers of many trees, makes the waterfall a true natural wonder. Yer Köprü Waterfall is formed on the old Göksu riverbed. Here, the Göksu River plunges approximately 30 meters into the riverbed, and there is a natural bridge over the river. Although this bridge like area is surrounded by very high rocks (approximately 300-400 m), the bridge itself is quite flat and resembles a garden with numerous plants. The waterfall is formed by the water emerging from the bottom of the rocks on this bridge, about 30 meters above the river, and cascading down from above into the tunnel where the river plunges into the riverbed. Therefore, the water that forms the waterfall does not come from the river, but from a spring on this bridge. Therefore, since the water level in the source remains the same throughout the year, the vegetation on the bridge is not damaged at all.
