Yumurtalık Lagoon is a lagoon located in the Yumurtalık district of Adana province, Türkiye.[2] The lagoon has a total area of 16,430 hectares. Transportation is provided via the Adana Karataş Yumurtalık road (70 km) or the Adana Ceyhan Yumurtalık road (90 km). The lake, located on the Seyhan Ceyhan delta, forms a protected natural environment for plant and animal species in the lagoons, especially for rare plant species such as Pinus halepensis. It also serves as a habitat for two species of sea turtles, the Caretta caretta and the Chelonia mydas. Source: Wikipedia
